SJAI has developed numerous management and protection plans for municipalities, and large scale projects like the Highway 407 expansion.
SJAI staff have prepared archaeological master/management plans and updates, as well as providing archaeological sensitivity plans and archaeological protection plans to large scale projects. SJAI understands the importance and utility of such plans in planning processes. Scarlett Janusas has undertaken archaeological master/management plans both on a federal and provincial level.
Master plans capture data and translate it into a GIS based system whereby archaeological potential can be identified quickly for planning and development purposes.
